Why do you want to make money from the internet?

I know this may sound like a daft question because if you can make money online, why would you not want to?!! But you would be surprised with how many people just can’t be bothered!! If you think about it, most people have a 9-5 job and the last thing they want to do after having grafted all day is to come home and…do more work!! It’s much more tempting chilling out with a nice cup of tea (or glass of wine or pint of beer) on the sofa letting their brain veg to mindless soaps. (Nothing wrong with soaps by the way. Those who know me will know that I NEVER miss an episode of Corry!!)

So there needs to be some kind of motivation to make you bothered to do it. There has to be a reason why you would swap “vegging out time” with “more work time”.

I know my reason. I currently have a very good, well-paid job. In fact I am the main bread-winner in my house hold, earning almost double what my partner does. This puts me in a bit of a pickle as the female in the relationship. When we decide to start a family in the next 18 months or so, we would not be able to afford me leaving work and living on just my partner’s income. So the only solution would be for my boyfriend to leave work and be a full time dad while I go back to work. That to me is not a solution!!! So my “reason” is to create enough of an income online so that neither of us will need to work and we can have the freedom and the lifestyle to watch our children grow without worrying about the finances or missing out on major developments in our kids’ lives.

Interestingly, I spent the day in Northampton yesterday at an internet marketing training day and I met two separate people who both had told me that they had experienced redundancy more than once! The reason that they started learning internet marketing and got involved in a work from home business was so that they would never have to be in that situation again where they could be told that they no longer had a job.

People each have their own reasons why they want to learn how to create an income online. I am sure that as you are reading this, you have your own reason. Otherwise you probably wouldn’t have come across me and wouldn’t be reading this!

The good news is that it really isn’t all that time consuming. Once you have learnt the basics and spent a bit of time setting everything up, you can build your online income in just 30-60 minutes a day! And if that time interferes with your soaps, just sky+ them and watch them later! That’s what I do!!
