Spotting Entrepreneur Opportunities

How do you truly spot entrepreneur opportunities?  This is a bit of a condundrum in itself!  It could be argued that a true entrepreneur will always spot the opportunity before us poor mere mortals but it could also be argued that the true entrepreneur will not only spot the entrepreneur opportunities but they may also create them from scratch.

So, maybe there are two types are entrepreneurs?  Those that wait for the opportunities to be pitched to them (for example, think of those people who pitch their ideas on Dragons Den!) and then decide on which ideas would be classed as entrepreneurs opportunities and those that have their own ideas and simply set about creating the right conditions for their ideas to flourish in.

If you think you are an entrepreneur who can spot entrepreneur opportunities from a mile off then you need to make sure that you are putting yourself in the right environment for this to happen.  These opportunities are difficult to find if you simply sit at home waiting for it to happen!!  Similarly, if you consider yourself an entrepreneur who has a brilliant idea that will make you millions, you can’t simply sit at home bubbling with excitement about your idea!  You need to get out there and find a way to bring your idea, plan or invention to life!

Entrepreneur opportunities are out there in abundance but if you are out there looking for them then you need to be prepared to go through an awful lot of poor ideas, business plans and inventions before you may come across the right one for you to take forward.  Also, consider carefully what being an entrepreneur means.  The definition is somebody who initiates or finances new commercial enterprises or a risk taking business person.
