Ways To Become A Good Leader

In order to build a strong team of loyal people in your business, you must position yourself as a good leader. When you are a good leader, you attract people to you. Your list respects you and finds value in the content you offer. The respect they have for you leads them to want to keep reading/listening to/watching the information you share, and that builds trust. Trust, in turn, brings sales and recruits. So what are the ways to become a good leader?

The first thing to do to find ways to become a good leader is to ask yourself what do YOU look for in a good leader (or sponsor or mentor). And these are the things you should be. For example, if you want your mentor to be a good emotional support of reinforcement when you are having doubts in your ability and for them to give you encouragement to keep going, then this should be something you offer your team. Everyone has their down days or days of frustration in their business, especially at the beginning. Being a rock of reinforcement can be a great quality to offer your team. If you want a mentor who answers your calls when you ring, or returns your calls if they can’t answer, then ensure that you also do the same.

You will attract like-minded people to you, so it is highly likely that the things you seek in a good leader are the same things that your team look for you to be.

There are a number of ways to become a good leader, but the most important thing in my eyes is offering good value. I only stay on the lists of people who offer me good quality, high value content in their emails, audios, blog posts and webinars. I therefore offer the same as I know that people on my list will only stay on my list if they are receiving good value from me. So be prepared to share all the knowledge you have.

“Be willing to GIVE without WANT before you can HAVE” – Mike Dillard

So do you consider yourself to be a good leader? In order to answer this question, ask yourself this: “Would YOU sign up with YOU?”
